Searching First Six

When you're looking for something specific, you don't have to remember which page it's on. Search finds it from anywhere.

  1. From the sidebar

Tap Search at the top of the left sidebar.

  2. Keyboard shortcuts

On a laptop, press +K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) from any page. You can also just press /.

  3. On your phone

Open the More menu in the bottom bar and tap Search.

What it searches

Type two or more letters and results appear as you go, grouped by type:

  • Events happening on campus or online.
  • Resources — the quick links and support pages your uni has added.
  • Answers from Ask Anything. Picking one opens the answer straight away.
  • This week — the essentials for your current week.

You only ever see what's meant for you: results are filtered to your course, campus, and groups, the same as the rest of First Six.

Move without the mouse

Use and to move through results and Enter to open the highlighted one. Esc closes search.
