Searching First Six
When you're looking for something specific, you don't have to remember which page it's on. Search finds it from anywhere.
Opening search
- From the sidebar
Tap Search at the top of the left sidebar.
- Keyboard shortcuts
On a laptop, press ⌘+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) from any page. You can also just press /.
- On your phone
Open the More menu in the bottom bar and tap Search.
What it searches
Type two or more letters and results appear as you go, grouped by type:
- Events happening on campus or online.
- Resources — the quick links and support pages your uni has added.
- Answers from Ask Anything. Picking one opens the answer straight away.
- This week — the essentials for your current week.
You only ever see what's meant for you: results are filtered to your course, campus, and groups, the same as the rest of First Six.
Move without the mouse
Use ↑ and ↓ to move through results and Enter to open the highlighted one. Esc closes search.
