Notifications and reminders

First Six keeps you in the loop two ways today: everything shows up in the app when you open it, and the things that matter most (like a staff member replying to a help request) also reach you by email. Push notifications straight to your phone are coming with the First Six mobile app.

How you'll hear about things right now

• Replies to your help requests. When a staff member responds, you'll get an email, and the reply is waiting in your help inbox next time you open the app. See raising a help request.
• Tasks and due dates. Your tasks and their due dates show in your Workspace and timetable, and you can subscribe them to your phone or laptop calendar from Settings, so due dates land alongside the rest of your schedule.

Coming soon: push to your phone

Notifications that reach you when the app is closed (a staff reply, or a nudge before a task is due) are on the way as part of the First Six mobile app. Until then you won't miss anything: email covers staff replies, and your synced calendar covers task due dates.

Staying in control

When push does arrive, it'll be opt-in and easy to switch off, on any device. First Six only sends genuinely useful things: replies to help you raised, and reminders you asked for. There's never any marketing, and the app works perfectly well if you'd rather just check it when it suits you.
