Signing in
Getting into First Six takes one step. Depending on your university, you'll either sign in with your existing university account or with a one-time link sent to your email.
The two ways in
- Sign in with your university
If your university uses single sign-on, you'll see a button like "Sign in with [your university]". It takes you to your university's normal login (the same one you use for email or your LMS), then straight back to First Six. You never type a First Six password — there isn't one.
- Or use an email link
If your university doesn't use single sign-on, enter your university email and we'll send you a one-time sign-in link. Open the email, tap the link, and you're in. The link is valid for about an hour and works once.
Always sign in with the email your university has on file for you. That's how First Six matches you to your enrolment, your timetable, and your cohort. A personal Gmail or Outlook address won't be recognised.
Staying signed in
Once you're in, you stay signed in on that device for a while, so you won't have to log in every visit. For your security, sessions do expire — when one does, you'll be sent back to the sign-in screen and land right back where you were after logging in again.
Add it to your phone
First Six works like an app once you add it to your home screen — see installing the app. You'll sign in once and it behaves like any other app after that.
Common questions
I didn't get the email link.
Check spam, and make sure you used your university email. Links can take a minute. If it still hasn't arrived, request a new one — each new link invalidates the previous.
The link says it's expired.
Links last about an hour and work once. Just request a fresh one from the sign-in screen.
It says it doesn't recognise my email.
First Six only knows the email your university enrolled you with. If yours isn't recognised, you may be using a personal address — try your university one. If that still fails, your university controls the enrolment list; contact them.
Can I use First Six on more than one device?
Yes. Sign in on your phone and your laptop both; your check-ins, timetable, and tasks stay in sync.
